Make sure to add the following foods to your diet to have optimal vitamin C, E and selenium:

Vitamin C:

  • Papaya
  • Bell peppers
  • Strawberries
  • Broccoli
  • Pineapple
  • Brussels sprouts

Vitamin E:

  • Almonds
  • Spinach
  • Collard greens
  • Asparagus

Selenium:

  • Brown rice
  • Oats
  • Brazil nuts
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions
  • Sunflower seeds

The best way to avoid GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms) is to buy organic products and to avoid the GM crops and their derivatives. These crops are:

  • Soy
  • Corn
  • Cottonseed
  • Canola
  • Sugar beets
  • Hawaiian papaya
  • Zucchini
  • Crook neck squash
  • Alfalfa

Avoid buying conventional produce of these vegetables and read the labels in processed foods to make sure they are not in there either. Hopefully we can have GMO’s labeled soon.
